On December 17, 2018, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations, with assistance from the Connecticut State Police – Haddam Resident Troopers Office, executed a federal search & seizure warrant at a residence on Woods Road, Higganum, CT.
Subsequently, Haddam Resident Trooper Enrico Milardo initiated a separate, parallel investigation stemming from the search and seizure execution on December 17, which identified Connecticut criminal violations. The State Police investigation resulted in an arrest warrant application that was submitted to Middlesex Superior Court who then issued an arrest warrant for the accused, Brian Beschel, 39, of Woods Road, Higganum.
On March 7, 2019, Brian Beschel, was arrested and charged with, Voyeurism, Disseminating Voyeuristic Material, Risk of Injury/Impairing morals of a child, Sale or Delivery of Tobacco to a minor and Sale or Delivery of Electronic Cigarette device to a minor. Beschel was released after posting a $150,000 court set cash/surety bond and is to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on March 19, 2019.
