Terri Russell, 50, of Queen Terrace, Southington, CT, turned herself in on an active arrest warrant stemming from an complaint on March 6, 2019.   Russell allegedly reported to the Haddam Resident Trooper’s Office that on March 5, she was assaulted and injured by an employee at the Saybrook at Haddam senior care facility of Haddam, while on duty as a care worker. A subsequent investigation revealed that Russell’s formal complaint was allegedly not consistent with witness and surveillance video evidence.  Russell was charged with False Statement and Falsely Reporting an Incident.  She was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on April 18, 2019.
All trooper press releases are consistent with state and federal guidelines under the Public Information Act.
