(December 10, 2023) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has issued the follow traffic advisory for road closures at the Haddam/East Haddam Swing Bridge for the week of December 10, 2023. The bridge will be closed as follows:
- Sunday night (12/10) into Monday morning – 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Monday night (12/11) into Tuesday morning – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Tuesday night (12/12) into Wednesday morning – 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Wednesday night (12/13) into Thursday morning – 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Thursday night (12/14) into Friday morning – 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Friday night (12/15) into Saturday morning – 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Marine Advisory
- The swing span is no longer opening to accommodate marine traffic passage. Scheduled openings will resume on April 1, 2024.
