Summer State Park Ride Program Ends Monday at 9 Town Transit

(August 31, 2022) — The ParkConneCT free bus service to Hammonasset State Park will end on Monday, September 5, 2022. Enjoy the largest beach in Connecticut FREE over Labor Day weekend, with easy access from Clinton, Madison, Middletown, Killingworth and Haddam!

  • Route 645 Saturdays from the Middletown bus terminal via Haddam, Killingworth and Clinton to Clinton Crossing Outlets and the park.
  • The Clinton Trolley Thursday through Sundays and holidays, connecting Clinton landmarks such as the Clinton town docks, Lobster Landing, the arts district and the east end restaurants to the park.
  • The Madison Shuttle Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day between the Madison Park-and-Ride lot, Madison Train Station and downtown Madison to the park.

Also, the popular on-demand transit service XtraMile is expanding to Middletown as a pilot program through December 18, 2022. XtraMile is a free ride-sharing service that anyone can use to get to and from select stops in Middletown.
