The Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Softball team defeated Valley Regional on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, with a final score of 17-7.
HK blasted 4 Home Runs, one each from Cheyenne LaTouche, Annabella Zajac, Ivy McNiel and Caley Napoletano. Freshman Caley Napoletano’s was a grand slam, she had 6 RBI on the day. Kaleigh Bodak and Bella Richwine each had 3 hits for HK. Valley Regional’s Sammy Pierce had 4 hits for Valley, including a home run. HK moves to 13-1 on the year while Valley Regional slips to 5-8. HK next plays Wednesday at home vs Morgan at 4:00 p.m.
