On Monday, May 16, 2022, the Haddam Killingworth High School Softball team defeated East Lyme by a score of 4-3.
HK’s Kaleigh Bodak picked up her 12th win of the year and had help from Brooke Hickman, who pitched 2 innings of scoreless relief to pick up a save. HK scored three times in the 5th inning to take a 4-3 lead. Annabella Zajac drove home one run followed by a Chey LaTouche two-run single. Brooke Hickman had two hits for HK and scored two runs. Avery Stadlen had two hits for East Lyme and scored one.
