The Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Softball team defeated East Hampton on Monday, April 11, 2022, by a final score of 11-2.
HK’s Kaleigh Bodak pitched 5 scoreless innings, striking out 7 and allowing just 4 hits. She also hit a 2-run home run in the 6th. Bella La Torre had 2 doubles and a sac fly to drive in 5, while Chey LaTouche had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Ivy McNiel picked up 3 hits and pitched the final two innings. Olivia DeMartino had a 2-run triple for East Hampton. East Hampton is now 0-3.
