The Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Softball team defeated Valley Regional High School on Monday, May 10, 2021 at home by a score of 4 to 3 in eight innings.
HK’s Madison LaTouche and Audrey Snyder each had rbi singles in the bottom of the 8th inning to score 2 runs to edge Valley Regional 4-3 in eight innings. Kaleigh Bodak pitched 7 1/3 innings striking out 7 and allowing only 1 earned run. Valley had taken the lead in the top of the 8th on a rbi single by Cede Peno. DP Kenzie Mule had two doubles for Valley and scored one run. HK’s Cheyanne LaTouche had an rbi triple for HK.
