Haddam-Killingworth High School Varsity Girl’s Softball team defeated Lyme/Old Lyme Girl’s Softball on Thursday, April 22, 2021 by a score of 7-1. It was a cold, blustery day. H-K improved their record to 6-0 on the season.
Bella Richwine hitting a home run
Kaleigh Bodak gained her 3rd win of the season with relief help from Bella Richwine. Bella also belted 2 homeruns on the day, the 2nd a 3 run shot to increase HK’s lead to 7-1. Bella had 3 hits with 3 runs scored and 4 RBIs. Ivy McNiel continued her hot hitting getting 3 hits and 2 RBI’s for the Cougars.
Old Lyme drops to 2-2 on the season. H-K plays Hale-Ray at home on Friday April 23.
