The Connecticut Siting Council has scheduled public hearing on the construction and operation of a 1.98-megawatt photovoltaic electric generating facility on a 25-acre site on the south side of Route 80 slightly east of Chestnut Hill. The hearing will take place on Thursday, February 21, 2019, beginning with an evidentiary session at 3:00 p.m. and continuing with a public comment session at 6:30 p.m., at Killingworth Fire Station 1, 333 Route 81. A site walk will take place at 2:00 p.m. on February 21. Park on the south side of Route 80 and wear boots, as the site is entirely forested.
