(November 13, 2023) — Sacred Heart on the Lake Retreat Center, 194 Candlewood Hill Road in Higganum, will offer a series of Advent Retreat Days in December 2023:
Saturday, December 2, 2023 and Saturday, December 9, 2023: Jesus, the Word Made Flesh, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Retreat Director will be Sr. Lany Jo Smith, ASCJ. A donation of $35 is asked, and includes a continental breakfast and a full lunch. Wednesday, December 6, 2023: “The Nativity Story.” A Film Study from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. As you prepare for Christmas would you like to make Scripture come alive? “The Nativity Story” is a must-see film that helps you identify with Joseph and Mary. You experience their challenges, hardships and joys. The birth of Jesus takes on new meaning as you enter fully into the lives of this couple.
