The Regional School District #17 Board of Education has had a Communications subcommittee for a long time, and each Chairman does things a little differently. When Susan Dean was the Chairman, there were monthly updates published on the district’s Facebook page, as well as published in this newspaper. After Ms. Dean left in 2017, Gerry Matthews became the Chairman of the subcommittee.
The Regional School District #17 Board of Education has developed a Facebook page to keep everyone informed of what is going on at the Board of Education. You can “like” and “follow” the Facebook page HERE.
According to Gerry Matthews, Chairman of the Board of Education’s Communications Subcommittee, “The Board of Education has created an informational ‘Bulletin Board’ Facebook page to keep residents current on our activities. We’ll be updating it frequently, so tune in regularly.”
