(October 16, 2024) — The Rockfall Foundation, in cooperation with the Estuary, City of Middletown Recycling and Public Works, RiverCOG, Sustainable Essex, Reboot Eco, and Mr. Fix This! will be hosting a Repair Café on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Estuary Council of Seniors, 220 Main Street in Old Saybrook.
Skilled volunteers will help fix and teach you how to fix your things—saving you money and keeping items working and out of the garbage. Tool use and help are free. Participants are responsible for obtaining any necessary replacement parts.
Bring Your: Electronics and Electrical, Jewelry, Sewing and Mending, Knife Sharpening (in limited quantities), Small Appliances (no TVs or large appliances), Woodwork/Furniture, Laptops, Bicycles, Smart Phones and Tablets, Lamps, AND MORE!
