Pumpkin Science – Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. Environmental educator Julie Ainsworth returns with some seasonal fun. Learn about the five senses… with pumpkins! For children ages 5 to 8 years old.
Nature Journaling for Young Naturalists – Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Explore the outdoors while collecting and sketching leaves, plants, and seed pods with Ann Courey, Master Naturalist and staff member at Steward Outdoor Day School. For children ages 5 to 10 years old.
Fractured Fairytales Play – Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. See the Read To You/Read to Me Fractured Fairytales come to life, through this performance by our friends from the Grove School Children’s Theater. Fun for all family members.
Gratitude Trees Craft – Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Decorate a personally-tagged Gratitude Tree to feature at your Thanksgiving Table. For ages 6+ and their grownups.
60 for 60 Fundraiser — 2024 marks the Killingworth Library Association’s 60th anniversary! Help us celebrate by supporting our mission to provide materials, programs, and technology for all. Our goal is to raise $6,000 in 60 days (by November 30, 2024) through donations or pledges. Your contribution will directly impact current programs, future events, our reimagined teen space, and our outdoor pavilion project. Holiday closings – Killingworth Library will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024 for Veterans Day, and on Thursday, November 28, 2024 for Thanksgiving.
