(April 13, 2023) — The inaugural meeting of the “Only the Best” Fiction Book Club will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at Killingworth Library to discuss “Middlesex” (Pulitzer Prize, NYT Editors’ Choice) by Jeffrey Eugenides. Some OTB books may be challenging, uncomfortable, or controversial for various reasons, but discussion should be quite interesting.
All selected books have merited Pulitzers, Bookers, Critics Circle awards, or other significant recognition. Meetings will be monthly on third Tuesdays. Relatively new to Connecticut, Chris is a retired college teacher and patent lawyer, who sees the club as a great way to revitalize his interest in reading and to make some friends.
