Frances Margaret Bell, 89, of Higganum, formerly of Portland, beloved wife of James Joseph “Joe” Bell, died Saturday, March 26, 2022, at home.
She was born in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Sadowski) Apanell. Frances is survived by her brother Daniel Apanell and his wife Sue of South Deerfield, MA, daughters Donna Berger and her husband Joseph of Meriden, Helen Bell Zavaglia and her husband Tony of Higganum, and Rosemarie Bell of Glastonbury, sons, Stanley Bell of Colchester and Daniel Bell of Columbia, four grandchildren Sheri and Elise Berger, Antonio and Carmela Zavaglia, a great-grandchild Tyler Estrella and a great-great- grandchild Myahlise Estrella. She was predeceased by her sons Michael and Bruce Bell.
