(June 6, 2023) — The Middletown Ujima Alliance will host its Third Annual Juneteenth Liberation Day Festival and its first parade on Monday June 19, 2023. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. and proceed from North Main Street to the Middletown Green. The festival will be begin immediately after.
The festival features several drill, drum and dance groups including the Ujima Rhythm Rockas, who will be making their debut.
In addition, on Saturday June 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Ujima Alliance will host Jubilation in the Park at the Middletown Green. Different gospel groups and ministries from across the state will come and either sing, dance or do spoken word.
