Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce Welcomes UConn Women’s Head Basketball Coach, Geno Auriemma on March 15, 2021

(Middletown, CT.) Chairman, Tom Byrne of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce announced that the University of Connecticut, Women’s Head Basketball Coach, Dan Hurley, will serve as keynote speaker at a Virtual Chamber Luncheon Meeting on Monday, March 15, 2021.

The Virtual Luncheon Meeting, sponsored by MiddleOak Insurance, will be held via Zoom from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Chamber President Larry McHugh noted, “We look forward to welcoming Coach Geno Auriemma, leader of the UConn Women’s Basketball Program, to this Virtual Member Breakfast Meeting. We are all very proud of Geno’s success as a fantastic Coach but also much more as a dedicated leader during the COVID-19 crisis. I also want to thank him for speaking to our members and thank MiddleOak Insurance for their sponsorship of what is sure to be another great virtual event.”

The cost is $10 for Chamber Members and $15 for non-members.

About Coach Geno Auriemma- Entering his 36th season in 2020-21, Geno Auriemma has redefined the meaning of success as head coach of the University of Connecticut women’s basketball program. During his illustrious tenure, Auriemma has transformed the Huskies into an unmatched program of excellence. In addition to UConn’s 11 National Championships under his leadership, Geno has also won the Naismith College Coach of the Year Award eight times, and has two Olympic Gold Medals as Head Coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team.
