Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce to Host a Free Coronavirus Workshop

(Middletown, CT.) Chairman, Don DeVivo of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce announced that a free Coronavirus workshop titled, “Coronavirus, Understand the Facts, Misinformation and the Public Health Response” will be offered at the Courtyard by Marriott Cromwell, 4 Sebethe Drive, Cromwell, CT 06416. This event will take place on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

The Coronavirus workshop, presented by Middlesex Health will have four expert panelist that will help the community understand the facts of the virus. The four expert panelists are the following: Jonathan Bankoff, Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Alina Filozov, D.O. Section Chief of Infectious Disease and Epidemiologist, Jim Hite, Director of Environmental Safety and Protective Services, and Jodi Parisi, Infection Prevention Manager of Middlesex Hospital.

Chamber President Larry McHugh noted, “We look forward to welcoming our panel of experts to our Coronavirus workshop titled, “Coronavirus, Understand the Facts, Misinformation and the Public Health Response”. On behalf of the Chamber I want to thank Vincent Capece from Middlesex Health for providing us with our panel of experts.”

The Middlesex Health panel of experts will answer the following questions:

  • What is the Coronavirus?
  • How does it spread?
  • Who is at risk?
  • How can we prevent it and other viruses from spreading?
  • What is Middlesex Health doing to prepare?
  • What do you need to do to be prepared?
