The Lyme-Old Lyme VFW Post 1467 announces its annual dinner-dance fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Christ the King Parish Hall, 1 McCurdy Road, Old Lyme, CT.
Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. Catered buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. to include appetizers, choice of entrée, desserts and beer and wine. Entertainment provided by String of Pearls, a noted big band orchestra featuring recording artist Valerie Rodgers who has performed at USO and veteran events across the country. “Mystery” gift boxes will be offered at $25.00 with a variety of prizes and gifts from local merchants.
Funds support the Post’s Vets-in-Need outreach program, including support programs for local area veterans, as well as, West Haven VA Hospital, Rocky Hill State VA Hospital Program, West Haven VA Blind Center, Fisher House of West Haven, and the Giant Steps Art and Music Therapy Program.
