Dear Editor:
I am writing to enthusiastically support Dawn Tarbetsky as the next Town Clerk of Haddam.
I have had the pleasure of working with Dawn in her role as Assistant Town Clerk [of Westbrook] since 2012. During that time, Dawn has provided a high level of care and service to the public that is so vital in this role.
Dawn had the knowledge, understanding and experience necessary to handle the many diverse responsibilities of a Town Clerk. It is vital to the town to have someone who is familiar with state statutes, land records, vital records, and the many other duties that are required of a town clerk. It is a very diverse role and Dawn has the experience needed to move the town forward with ease. We all know too well the important role the town clerk plays in town government and how vital it is for any town to have an experienced Town Clerk at the helm.
I encourage your readers to vote for Dawn Tarbetsky on November 2, 2021, as your next Town Clerk.
