I endorse Renee LaMark Muir for State Representative in the 36th Assembly District.  My husband and I made our home in Deep River many years ago and have been active members of town committees and organizations.  We have enjoyed the casual, rural setting and the close community that makes Deep River special to all who live here.

Renee LaMark Muir grew up in the Tri-Town area and is a vital part of its fabric.  She currently serves on the Deep River Zoning Board of Appeals and the Deep River Economic Development Commission, as well as providing leadership on the Democratic Town Committee.  She understands our community and is committed to preserving the natural environment that contributes to the quality of life for all residents.

Renee pledges to safeguard our open spaces and trailways, and fully supports green technologies to promote clean and affordable energy sources.  She will work on the state level to ensure sustainable environmental policies and to fight for measures to reduce global warming.  She understands that responsible policy reduces financial costs to the state when impacted by climate change events.

Renee is the right candidate for our times.  She has the determination, astute awareness of issues, and leadership ability to serve our community with distinction. I hope you will join me on November 5th to elect Renee LaMark Muir to the Connecticut General Assembly.
