This letter is to offer my endorsement of Bob Siegrist for State Representative of the 36th District. Please note this is a personal endorsement and in no way represents the opinion of any town boards on which I currently serve, including the Haddam Board of Selectman and Haddam Economic Development Commission.
I have come to know Bob both personally and professionally through our work together in the Town of Haddam. Bob is a dedicated public servant with strong family roots to the community and an unwavering commitment to improving the livelihood of the people and businesses within our District and throughout Connecticut.
While serving only a short time in Hartford, Bob’s leadership qualities set a path for collaboration among all stakeholders regardless of political affiliation. With a 100% voting record during his term, Bob’s commitment is clear and unmatched. His ‘People over Party’ approach to making policy was a breath of fresh air that the State Legislature desperately needed – and still does. Voters would be wise to send Bob back to the General Assembly to continue his progress and help usher in a new era of public service that focuses on achieving results for all constituents, not just those with whom he shares special interests or party affiliation.
Please join me on November 3 to support Bob Siegrist for State Rep of the 36th District. I encourage voters to support Bob as their advocate in Hartford who will fully uphold all community priorities.
