The Democratic slate for the Killingworth elections this November brings together the experience of people who have served in the town government for many years with the new energy of recent volunteers.
These candidates bring a variety of expertise, relevant knowledge, and understanding of the issues Killingworth will face in the coming years.
If we had aisles in Killingworth, they would work across them. The incumbents who are running for re-election have demonstrated that time and again. The first-time candidates were drawn to run precisely because they know that once they are in the meeting room, partisanship has been left outside the door.
Above all, they bring a commitment to our “small d” democratic form of government. They recognize the importance of honest discussion, verifiable facts, and compromise.
They understand their responsibility to serve the whole community, not just the people who voted for them.
Please join me this November 7th in voting for the women and men on Row A. They are truly a team for Killingworth’s future.
