I’m writing in support of State Representative Christine Palm who is running for re-election in the 36th Assembly District. She has been an outstanding advocate for the residents of Haddam, Chester, Deep River, and Essex and has always been readily accessible to listen to the concerns of her constituents.
Christine has been responsive to the crucial issues facing us on a local, state, and national level. She fought for absentee ballot voting for all CT voters in the 2020 election, ensuring safe voting while exercising our right to vote. She also kept us well informed about the COVID pandemic with frequent reports to constituents about health and safety, job loss, educational issues, housing, and small business concerns.
Representative Palm has also supported Telehealth for Seniors and homebound residents to ensure essential medical care, and regularly updates constituents on healthcare and other important legislative issues. Further, she has demonstrated concern about the environment and has proposed legislation on climate change education in the schools.
These are impressive achievements for a first-term legislator and are the clear reasons why I endorse Christine Palm for re-election.
