Letter to the Editor: From Norm Needleman

The views stated here are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the staff of this newspaper.

The Holiday Season is a time for all of us to spread good will and good cheer. It is also a time for reflection. We look back on the past year, and make resolutions for the year about to begin. In my experience those resolutions have always been ambitious, and this year is no exception.

On January 9th, I will be sworn in as your voice in the State Senate. I am eager to begin my term, and start the process of addressing the challenges that concern all of us: the state budget, taxes, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and social programs. First on my list of resolutions is a determination to be a strong advocate in the State Senate for each individual and every town in our district.

Your thoughts and perspectives will play a central role in how I represent you. That’s why I will hold public meetings throughout the district in the coming weeks. I look forward to hearing your views on the issues that are important to you.

Meanwhile, I’d like to extend my warmest wishes to you and your family for the holiday season.

Best,

Norm Needleman
