The expert leadership of Killingworth’s popular First Selectwoman Cathy Iino has been the primary catalyst for assembling an astonishing group of passionate professionals to help her run this town. Cathy has accomplished a tremendous amount since she has been in office, and doesn’t want to lose that momentum.
Lou Annino, Jr. a lifelong, fourth generation resident of Killingworth feels deeply the honor of serving the people of Killingworth as Selectman for the past eight years Lou played a pivotal leadership role in fiscal responsibility.
Donna Dupuis vows to work hard to provide the service each resident has a right to expect from their elected officials as Town Treasurer.
Michele Nuhn has been the Tax Collector for the last 12 years and has been a point of pride for the town due to her record of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Both Robert Rimmer and Marcel Couture are seeking re-election and vow to continue to strive to keep taxes low. There have been no mil increases in the past 3 years.
For Board of Assessment Appeals, Carolyn Anderson brings her expertise served as a member of our town’s Board of Finance from 2013 to 2017.
Thomas Hogarty is running for his second term as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. Alec Martin is running for Alternate on the Planning and Zoning Commission appreciates the ambience of Killingworth which he believes is a function of the zoning laws.
For Zoning Board of Appeals, Charles Martens brings his unparalleled experience as a three term incumbent and Ben Charney sees the board is a team of neighbors helping neighbors. For the Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate, Stephanie Warren brings zoning expertise from her previous experience on the P&Z Commission.
Jennifer Liptak was appointed to the Killingworth Board of Fire Commissioners in 2018 and holds a master’s degree in Management and Public Administration.
Candidates for the Board of Education are, Nelson Rivera an assistant principal, Joel D’Angelo a Ph.D. in who has worked at the Hopkins School in New Haven for the past 17 years and Suzanne Sack who for the last four years has served on the Board of Education as Treasurer and Vice Chair.
