Recently while in Florida we took an airboat ride with friends and while boarding the airboat that holds 16 passengers I noticed a Burr Elementary Select Chorus T-shirt on one of the children. So I asked the parents where they lived and they said Higganum CT! This was startling as we live in Haddam and here we were in the middle of nowhere in a swampy marshland in Fellesmere, FL! (near Sebastian FL)
What are the chances of running into a lovely family from your hometown? Well we did. Here are Kathleen and Doug Burt of Higganum and their two daughters and Sue and David Costa of Haddam. We all had a great ride and saw wonderful wildlife and many alligators, here is the largest one! A good time was had by all.
