(October 17, 2022) — The Essex and Haddam libraries will sponsor a forum with candidates running for State Senator and State Representative on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at Valley Regional High School in Deep River. Candidates are:
District 36 Incumbent State Representative Christine Palm (D) and Chris Turkington (R)
District 33 Incumbent State Senator Norm Needleman (D) and Brandon Goff (R)
Questions for the candidates can be sent by U.S. Mail, dropped off at either the Essex Library (33 West Avenue, Essex) or Brainerd Memorial Library (920 Saybrook Road, Haddam), or emailed to athompson@essexlib.org or tpiezzo@brainerdlibrary.org.
