(October 14, 2023) — The Killingworth Women’s Organization (KWO) will offer the following programs and events in October and November 2023:
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
KWO is sponsoring an informational program on domestic violence and elder abuse featuring a guest speaker from New Horizons, a women’s shelter program in Middletown.
The program, “Stop the Silence, Stop the Cycle, Live a Life Without Fear,” is scheduled for Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Killingworth Library. The program is open to the public. All are welcome to attend.

𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗞 𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧
Get ready for a “spooktacular” evening of fun and treats at our annual 𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗞 𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 event! Festivities will be held at the Courtyard in Killingworth – 176 Route 81 – on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Trunk decorating begins at 5:30 p.m. and parking ends at 6:20 p.m. Trunk or Treating begins at 6:30 and continues until 7:30 p.m.
𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧’𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗘:
𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗸 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Deck out your car in the most “spooktacular” way possible!
𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲: Load up your trunk with goodies and be ready to share the Halloween spirit with the community.

The Great Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge 2
Gather a team and head to Killingworth Library for “The Great Jigsaw Puzzle Challenge 2.” On Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., the Killingworth Women’s Organization is sponsoring the second jigsaw puzzle challenge. Register as a team (1, 2, 3, or 4 puzzlers) via the Killingworth Library website: https://killingworthlibrary.org/
Look under “Calendar of Events” to register a team. Reserve a table for $20.00! 500-piece puzzles will be provided to each team. Since it is Veterans Day, a team of four may bring a veteran to play free of charge. Can you beat the clock? Refreshments, prizes, raffles, fun!
