(March 22, 2023)–Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. the KVFC was dispatched to a reported 15×15 brush fire. Upon arrival it was found that the fire quickly spread and eventually covered approximately 1 acre and threatened a new house under construction. Crews quickly accessed the fire from multiple locations and stopped further progression and contained it.
The KVFC would like to thank Clinton Fire Dept. for providing mutual aid for Water and manpower.
This is also a reminder to follow the warnings that are issued from various sources when the burn danger is high or extreme.
