On Monday, March 2, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. the Killingworth Senior Club will host Dr. Marilise Hyacinth of Middlesex Hospital who will address the issues of aging and mental health, as well as, the physical and emotional challenges individuals face during life changes. This includes depression, anxiety, and mood changes. The presentation is suitable for caregivers, older adults, and spouses or children taking care of a loved one.
This speaker’s presentation will take place at the Killingworth Congregational Church activity hall, 273 CT-81, Killingworth, CT 06419 The talk is free and open to the public. Dr. Hyacinth earned her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed her residency at Yale University School of Medicine and a fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
She has specialized training in geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Hyacinth joined Middlesex Health in August 2017 as a General Adult and Geriatric Psychiatrist. In 2018, she became the Adult Outpatient Medical Director for the Center for Behavioral Health at Middlesex Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in psychiatry.
