(Jan. 8, 2019) — On Nov. 30, 2018, there was a burglary of a residence on Pond Meadow Road in Killingworth. On Jan. 4, 2019, Avery Auer, age 24, of Killingworth, was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant issued by Middletown Superior Court for Burglary in the Third Degree and Larceny in the Third Degree after an investigation by Trooper Wisner. Auer is being held on a $50,000 bond at Hartford Corrections Center pending arraignment.
Similar incidents in the area are still under investigation.
