Killingworth Trooper: Arrests

The investigation into three burglaries on Pond Meadows Road in Killingworth that occurred on November 30, 2018 resulted in the April 12 arrest of Avery Auer, 25, of Pond Meadow Road for two of the residential burglaries that occurred on November 30, 2018. This is the previous arrest report related to this case.  Relevant to the arrests of April 12, he was charged with Burglary 3rd degree and Larceny 3rd degree and held on a $40,000 bond, and for the other arrest, he was charged with Burglary 3rd degree and Larceny 4th degree and held on a $40,000 bond.  He was to appear at Middlesex Superior Court on April 12, 2019.

A juvenile was referred to juvenile authorities on March 29, 2019 because on March 26 the juvenile was allegedly involved in “the reckless use of the highway while bicycling.” The juvenile was operating a bicycle on the center line while “popping a wheelie” in the vicinity of traffic. The juvenile was charged with Failure to Keep Right and Failure to Wear a Helmet. The juvenile was issued a summons to appear at Middletown Superior Court.
