The Killingworth Library Association is Looking for your Feedback
The Killingworth Library is seeking input from the local community as it develops its strategic plan, and will be releasing a 9-question survey in mid-November. Links to the survey will be available online via the library’s website and Facebook account, and paper survey forms will be available at the library and post office. Responses will be collected from November 15 – December 14, 2019. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts!

Bats in Connecticut
Tuesday, November 19, 2019, 7:00 p.m. at the Firehouse in Killingworth.
Richard Taylor, Master Wildlife Conservationist supporting the Connecticut DEEP Wildlife team, will be presenting a program on Connecticut bats that will include species and types of bats found in Connecticut, the economic value of bats, bat migration and hibernation, decline and disease, and what the public can do to help bats. Do you want to try out the library’s new expanded collection of downloadable audio books but just aren’t sure how to do it? Join us as we partner with the tech savvy teens of the Haddam Killingworth Leo’s for our first “Tech time with the HK Leo’s” and have your questions answered! Bring your iPhone or smart phone with you and we will step you though the process (you will also need your library card #). This program is free, but advance signup is requested.
