Killingworth Historical Society’s first open house of the summer will take place on July 11, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Parmelee Farm (465 Route 81, Killingworth).
Inside the farmhouse will be a display of some household and farm items from our collection of Killingworth artifacts.
Outside under a tent behind the farmhouse will be Killingworth Historical Society’s first pop-up museum of the summer! Come visit our outdoor interactive event featuring award-winning artist Sandy Smith. Sandy will bring some quilts and the Historic Women of Killingworth doll collection she created, plus the wooden series of Killingworth houses will be on display.
There will be story time and beginner’s children quilting (hand stitching) lessons throughout the afternoon. Fun for all ages!
