The Killingworth Ambulance Association is offering an EMT course this fall, starting Sept. 10 and tentatively scheduled to end Dec. 15.
Classes will be held Monday and Thursday evenings, 6-10 p.m. and five Saturdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and will include CPR, patient assessment and treatment.
Cost of the course is $850 and does not include testing expenses. However, accredited EMTs can recoup half of that total with a half-year of service and the entire amount with one year’s service.
