Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident at 5:00 p.m. March 31, 2019 on Hidden Lake Road. A driver had lost control of his vehicle and struck a stone wall and tree, which caused his vehicle to roll over onto its roof. The operator self-extricated and was evaluated on scene by EMS personnel. He was transported to Middlesex Hospital via Haddam Volunteer Ambulance Service. Firefighters closed a section of Hidden Lake Road during the incident.
