At 8:35 a.m. Jan. 18, 2019 Haddam Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Little City Road. A woman had lost control of her vehicle and struck an embankment, which caused the vehicle to flip onto the driver’s side. Good Samaritans helped the occupant exit her vehicle prior to Fire and EMS arriving. The patient was evaluated on scene by Haddam Ambulance personnel and refused additional medical treatment.
Firefighters stabilized the vehicle until it was removed by a wrecker.
