Connecticut Fire Photographers Association member Johnny DeForest got this great shot of HVFC Firefighter Kris Proto during his Firefighter II class. The Hartford County Regional Fire School held its live burn there on March 20. Firefighters went through fire attack, rapid intervention team training, search and rescue, and incident command. Crews understood communication and teamwork during the exercise.
