Haddam Volunteer Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident on April 13, 2020 on Route 9 North between exits 9 and 10.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a vehicle flipped on its roof. The driver had self-extricated and was transported to Hartford Hospital.
Crews blocked the passing lane with two apparatus but allowed traffic to flow in the right lane. The scene was turned over to the Connecticut State Police.
HVFC also responded to calls for medical assistance, a power line down on Killingworth Road, and an incident involving a possible carbon monoxide leak.
