HKYFS: A Call for Volunteers to Be Youth Mentors

Submitted by Patty Coletti, HK Youth & Family Services

(July 14, 2022) — Ever wondered what you could do to impact the life of a child in a positive way? Do you have one spare hour of time per week to become a valued friend and role model to a child? If you answered yes, please join the next HK Mentoring Program information session on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the Killingworth Library. (A Zoom meeting can be arranged upon request). At this meeting, you will learn about the Program, a partnership between Youth & Family Services of Haddam-Killingworth (HKYFS) and Regional School District 17. During the information session, you will learn about the importance of mentoring, the value it can bring to a student in our community, and the steps you can take to become a mentor.

For more information, or to register, please email Patty Coletti, Mentor Program Consultant for HK Youth and Family Services, at mentorprogram@hkyfs.org or you can call Patty at 860-345-7498. Once you RSVP, you will receive an invitation to the orientation. Please be sure to indicate the date you want to attend. We look forward to meeting with you!
