On Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Haddam-Killingworth Middle School will host their Applied Academics and Fine Arts (AAFA) show. This annual event is part of our community week celebration and includes a book fair, and showcases student work completed in Art, Music, Technology Education, Health, Physical Education, Foods, Life Skills LEAP and Foreign Language classes. In addition, there will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive hosted by students from 7th and 8th Grade Health classes. Come out and enjoy the fantastic art work and projects that our students have created this year, enjoy live performances from our jazz band and chorus and help our community by donating blood at the blood drive!
The culminating event for Community Week is our annual Food Truck Night which will be held at HK Middle School on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Come out and join us for an evening of fun, food and music! We look forward to seeing you there!
