(May 14, 2024) — The Haddam-Killingworth High School Softball team defeated Coventry 7-1 on May 13, 2024. The Cougars jumped on Coventry for four runs in the first inning, highlighted by an Annabelle Zajac two-run homer, followed by a two-run double from Hannah Reilly.
The Cougars added to their lead with three runs in the third inning. Grace Natanzon singled in two runs, followed by an Annabelle Zajac RBI single. Emma Giaccone picked up her eleventh win of the season, with a five-hit, one-run outing.
