(Oct. 29, 2021) — With the help of team parent Diane Phipps, the Haddam Killingworth High School Girls Soccer team held a fundraiser during the month of October for the HK Backpack Program.
The HK Backpack program takes donations from the community for our local children. They try to provide enough food for them to get through the weekend when school lunches are not available. Backpacks are filled with donated items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. They are available on Thursdays for the children to pick them up in time for the weekend.
Thank you to the girls soccer team for “giving” to a local cause!
