(May 3, 2022)—The athletes who represent the Haddam-Killingworth Girls Lacrosse team are made up of strong, independent daughters and sisters of the Haddam, Higganum and Killingworth communities. This team is not only focused on the game, but also on philanthropy. Most recently they heard that a child close to the HKHS community was diagnosed with a rare form of children’s cancer, and the HK Girls wanted to make a difference and raise awareness.
The home game on Thursday, May 5, 2022, will be dedicated to Children’s Cancer Awareness.
We will collect donations at the gate in the hope of bringing awareness and providing this child with something very special this summer.
