(March 8, 2019) — The Haddam Killingworth High School basketball teams finished out their season recently. The Junior Varsity team “had a great year and finished with a record of 16-3,” said Jim Abbott, Coach. “The Varsity team showed much improvement this year going from 2 wins last year to 8 wins this year. The highlight was making the state tournament and playing arch rival Morgan in the first round,” said Mr. Abbott. “The game was a classic, although HK came up two points short and lost 56-54.
