Baseball 2024: HKHS Defeats Ellington 11-5

(May 21, 2024) — Todd Butler pitched four innings of scoreless relief, striking out three and allowing only two hits, as the Haddam Killingworth High School Baseball team defeated Ellington by a score of 11-5 on May 17, 2024.

Luke Mauri had three hits, including two home runs, a double and seven RBI. Joe Salafia added a big two-run double in the sixth inning. Michael Grimes and Tristan Patterson each had two hits for Ellington. HK next plays at home on May 20, 2024 in the first round of the Shoreline Conference playoffs.
