(May 21, 2024) — Matt Shea pitched six innings of two-hit ball to get his seventh win, as the Haddam Killingworth High School Baseball team defeated Portland 12-2 in a Shoreline Conference playoff quarterfinal on May 20, 2024.
Luke Mauri had two hits and three RBI; Blake Kamoen, Max Selmer and Ryan Erskine each added two hits in HK’s twelve-hit attack. Josh Hanna hit a two-run homer in the first inning for Portland. HK next plays at home on May 21, 2024 in the semifinal round of the Shoreline playoffs.
