The HK Rec. Dept. will be conducting Summer Camp / Child Care, weekly beginning June 24 – August 9, 2019 (no camp July 4 or 5) from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (rain or shine) at the Haddam Killingworth High School. Participants may register for either Full Day Camp (7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.), Camp Only (9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.), Extended AM (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) or Extended PM (9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.). Participants must sign up on a weekly basis. The camp will be held at the Haddam-Killingworth High School Cafeteria Extended AM and PM (7:00 – 8:45 a.m. and 3:45 -6:00 p.m.). The camp is open to both residents and non-residents. Camp is for children entering grades 1 – 8. The fee for Camp Only (9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) is $125 ($115 for each additional siblings per week). The fee for Extended AM or PM camp is $155 ($140 for each additional siblings per week). The fee for Full Day Camp is $170 ($155 each additional sibling per week). The fee for the All-Inclusive Seasonal Package (7 weeks of Full Day Camp) is $1100 ($1000 each additional sibling). Camp fees include field trip admission and busing and a camper T-shirt to be worn on field trips. Please note – there is a $25 per week surcharge for Grades 6 – 8 for their extra weekly field trip. Recreation scholarships and special payment plans are available for those who qualify. Non-residents may register for an additional $10 each week. There are pro-rated fees for the week of July 1 – July 3.
Camp Discovery (Gr. 1 & 2) – For children entering Gr. 1 & 2. Located in the HKHS Cafeteria. There will be a field trip each week on Thursdays unless noted.

Week 3: Ray of Light Farm
Week 4: Children’s Museum (with planetarium & butterfly garden)
Week 5: Dinosaur Crossings (outdoor adventure with splash pad)

Week 7: On-Site End of Camp Party

Camp Adventure (Gr. 3, 4, 5 ) – For children entering Gr. 3 – 5. Located at HK Central Office A-129. There will be a field trip each week on Thursdays unless noted.

Camp Explorers (Gr. 6, 7 & 8) – Students entering Gr. 6-8 will be located at HK Central Office A-117 & A-119.

Week 1: Putters Paradise (Mini-golf, Bumper Boats, Go-Karts & Batting Cages) and Indian River Marina Kayaking*
